Isaiah presents a vision of judgment that exposes the world’s false hopes. Human power, wealth, and political ambition are unmasked as fragile and temporary in the face of divine authority. Even the greatest empires rise and fall at God’s command. The vision of judgment exposes the world’s arrogance and illusion of control. Alongside this heavy vision, Isaiah presents a surprising message about how to escape the coming judgement–a message that God’s people need to hear, both then and now.
During Spring 2025 we covered Isaiah chapters 1-12 in the first segment of our sermon series with the theme “Isaiah: A Vision of God Who Brings Salvation.” In February 2026, we resumed our study in Isaiah 13-23 with the theme “Isaiah: A Vision of Judgment that Exposes the World.” The plan at this point is to pick up at Isaiah Chapter 24 next Spring. Stay tuned!
Even though our current series has ended, you can still benefit from our study. The video replays are available on Fairhaven’s YouTube channel as well as in our Sermon Archives. You can also listen to audio replays on this website (see links below).
