As a body of believers, we are devoted to studying and growing in our understanding of God’s Word. We encourage everyone to join a class on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. toward this end.
The book of James was written to answer questions that the early Jewish Christians had about living out their faith while enduring persecution. The apostle challenged them to demonstrate maturity in speech, caring for those often overlooked, and by showing humility. His message still reminds us that when believers listen to and obey God’s Word, they are demonstrating genuine faith, not simply intellectual agreement.
