Fairhaven was so excited to once again host the Awana Grand Prix, a highly anticipated racing event where kids and their families work together on a project and come together with their club for an exciting day of fun and thrills. The Awana Grand Prix has been bringing families together for decades, creating moments of laughter, teamwork, and gospel impact that last long after the checkered flag drops.
DATE: Car kits on sale at club January 22-February 14.
COST: $5 per kit, cash or check
DETAILS: Carefully read the INSTRUCTIONS for building your car that come in your kit and which are available below. This will help greatly when planning how to move your design ideas into reality.
Remember, this is a family event, so clubbers are expected to complete some of the work on the car.

TIME: 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
WHERE: Fairhaven Parking Lot (inside if raining)
BRING: Your car kit, design ideas, and supplies you have assembled
WE PROVIDE: Helpers, tools, and experience

INSPECTION TIME: 9:00 a.m.
- All cars must be inspected and weighed (cannot exceed 5 oz.) .
- No lubrication for wheels can be transferred to the track.
- No alterations will be made to cars after they are submitted for the race.
RACES BEGIN: 10:00 a.m.
DETAILS:
- No modifications can be made to a car once it has passed inspection and has been registered.
- Cubbies & Sparks will race as a group with T&T as a separate group.
- Trophies will be awarded per group for (1) Design and (2) Speed.
- Invite your family and friends to attend so they can cheer on your clubber.
