Women’s Ministries

This summer we are reading through the book Adorned by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth and exploring what it means to “live out the beauty of the gospel together.”

We gather to discuss our  reading in the book, investigate topics relevant to women at all stages of life, open the Scriptures to discover what God’s heart is for women, hear from women who have experienced the power of these principles and who model them for us, and deepen our relationships with one another.

We’d love to have you join us!

On Wednesday mornings we meet for prayer on Zoom. All ladies are welcome. Contact Lorene Chin or Patty Saugar for information about how to join our meetings.

On the 2nd Wednesday of each summer month we encourage moms with young children (womb to Pre-K) to join us at a lock park for some time to breathe, to enjoy fellowship with and support from other moms, and to be encouraged in your journey of motherhood.

For more information, see our Moms & Tots page or contact Traci Ashkenasy, Bethany FitzGerald, or Liz FitzGerald.

The ladies meet on Friday mornings in the Fireside Room during September-June.

During Spring 2026 we joined the church-wide study in the book of Isaiah, following the sermons on Sunday mornings. We look forward to starting up again in Fall as the Matthew study resumes.

You can access the teaching and study notes through the following link.

For more information about our study, contact Jennifer Cooper or Lisa MacDonald.

Ladies craft time

We’re setting aside time each month to spend working on our craft projects together.  Do you knit? crochet? embroider? cross stitch? Do you have a skill you could teach someone? Would you like to learn a new craft? We’d love to have you join us.

Bring your own supplies. Snacks will be provided. We meet in the Fireside Room 7:00-9:00 p.m.

For more information, contact Carmen Rodgers or Patty Saugar.

We were so blessed at our 2026 Women’s Retreat, held at our beloved Koinonia Conference Grounds.
Focusing on our theme “Deeply Rooted in Christ,” Ruth Schwertfeger encouraged us with teaching from the Word. We had activities to keep us entertained, clean mountain air to breathe, and plenty of precious time for fellowship with one another.

We’ve added some special recordings from the event on our retreat webpage. Enjoy!
