The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.
Proverbs 1:7a
As a body of believers, we are devoted to studying and growing in our understanding of God’s Word. We encourage everyone to join a class on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. toward this end.
The book of James was written to answer questions that the early Jewish Christians had about living out their faith while enduring persecution. The apostle challenged them to demonstrate maturity in speech, caring for those often overlooked, and by showing humility. His message still reminds us that when believers listen to and obey God’s word, they are demonstrating genuine faith, not simply intellectual agreement.
We’re pleased to host the Intermediate Christian Training (ICT) class again. Those already grounded in their Christian faith will want to continue their studies with ICT. This class offers topics including the authority of the Bible, a believer’s position in Christ, doing the will of God, attaining life goals, the Spirit of God and His work in believers, spiritual gifts, and more. This class starts February 1.
