SUNDAY MORNING CLASSES  - Winter 2011  

The Sunday morning classes meet from 9:30 to 10:30 for a period of 13 weeks beginning on December 11th. All classes require advance registration.  Please fill out this form and turn it into the ushers or to the office by December 4.

1           SURVEY IN BASIC CHRISTIANITY

Have you ever asked: How does God speak to man? What is God really like? Why is there evil in the world? What happens after death? Who is Jesus Christ, really? Can I be sure of heaven? Now you can explore these and other fascinating subjects.

2              FEASTING ON THE WORD

We continue our in depth, verse by verse, study of the Old Testament.  Each hour will start with a light appetizer in the Psalms, followed a rich feast in the Word.  Having finished the narrative on the individual Judges (Chapters 1-16) we will move toward the close of the book of Judges, and choose our next book.  Each week is finished with some time for fellowship, snacks and hot drinks to complete our three course feast.  Come and join us when you can, as visitors are always welcome.  We seek to help you learn how to dig deeply into the Word, and find insights and blessings from the Old Testament for your life today

 3            A CLOSER LOOK AT THE LIFE OF JESUS

We are going to take another close and refreshing look at the life of Jesus the most important person in the universe. We will go through Matthew scene by scene and study all that took place from the time He entered a location until He went to another place looking for His wisdom in interacting with and ministering to men & women. Our goal is to gain practical applications for ourselves. Please join us if this seems important to you.

4            Basic Christian Training

Come join us for an exciting class learning about topics such as overcoming temptation, how to have a great quiet time, how to be effective in personal evangelism, and the Lordship of Christ. If you took the class a long time ago, come again for a "refresher". Moderate homework required. Successful completion of SBC is a prerequisite for taking the class.
